Je n’allais pas vous noyer de copier-coller :  vous connaissez désormais le chemin des infos.

Néanmoins, j’écoute en boucle cette setlist et j’ai envie de réagir à chaud.

-> Je ne crois pas à cet ordre là, je pense que ça ne fonctionne pas. Certes on verra « en vrai« , mais  je veux écrire noir sur blanc dès maintenant que je crois à une autre entrée en scène la semaine prochaine !

Magnificent en #4 ok ; en dernière chanson de NLOTH avant de passer à autre chose, ok ; d’autant que l’enchaînement avec Beautiful Day est nickel.
Mais Breathe PUIS No Line… j’ai des doutes. Ca ne marche pas. A la limite No Line PUIS Breathe PUIS Boots…

It is fairly similar to the set rehearsed yesterday. Now in the mix is Walk On, a song the band played just eleven times on the Vertigo Tour – nine times acoustically, twice full electric. Current rehearsals indicate it will be full electric this time around. Yesterday, the only song rehearsed from U2’s 1990s albums was Ultra Violet; today, One has been added to the mix as well.

[MàJ] Quelques réactions à chaud.

• Evidemment il s’agit de répétitions, pas de setlist définitive.
  Ils ne peuvent pas commencer par trois chansons d’entrée sur scène (Unforgettable Fire, et surtout Blinding Lights + Magnificent) enchaînées. Ils sont en train de tester laquelle sera la meilleure.
• La liste est courte (19 titres) et il manque de gros poissons incontournables : One évidemment, Sunday ou Bullet, voire Until The End of The World [s'il vous plait !!!] qui me semblent quand même incontournables,  sans parler des titres qu’ils joueront plus rarement (deuxième ou troisième soir).
  Ils les répéteront et positionneront plus tard.
• D’autres parties sont, quant à elles, de vrais enchaînements :
  - la partie acoustique en avant-scène avec In A Little While et Angel of Harlem (YEAH !!) est d’ores et déjà une tuerie ;
  -  quant à Unforgettable Fire [je crois bien davantage à son positionnement ici], puis COBL, Pride, MLK, Streets c’est le crescendo parfait avant de sortir. Ne touchez plus à rien les gars !
  Pour mieux revenir avec Ultraviolet, WOWY et Vertigo (puis second rappel).
• last but not least : le retour de The Unforgettable Fire.
  En lisant la news cet aprem, j’en ai eu immédiatement la chair de poule et failli en chialer de joie.
  C’est une de mes chansons préférées,  mais elle n’a plus été jouée depuis ‘87 ‘89 et je ne l’ai jamais entendu live.
  Immensément heureux mais pas surpris :  je le savais,  j’en étais persuadé (la saveur du dernier album le laissait envisager) et je l’avais écrit ici même le 4 mars dernier.

· MLK – it’s interesting to note one song about Martin Luther King Jr following the other. The two songs have rarely ever appeared together before. But will they stay together on tour, or is this just rehearsal coincidence? It is also worth noting that since the end of the Lovetown Tour in January 1990, MLK has struggled to hold a position in the setlist, often appearing as little more than a glorified One snippet.
· Where The Streets Have No Name – anybody shocked? No? Didn’t think so.
· Ultra Violet – this song has not been performed since the end of Zoo TV’s fourth leg on 28 August 1993. Also note that it is the only Achtung Baby song to be rehearsed today.
· With Or Without You
· Vertigo
